G. L. Brightharp Lake

The pond at Bettis Academy (G. L. Brightharp Lake) is located on the northeastern portion of the campus and is approximately four acres in size, with a horseshoe shape. The pond (lake) is approximately 23 years old and was built with funds from Mt. Canaan Association (timber sales) for the recreation and enjoyment of the members of the Mt. Canaan Association and a very selected public.
